MARK FRASCOGNA
Chairman of the Board

With over 35 years of experience in the Italian energy sector, he led CMI Energia Srl as CEO and conceived the Colle Santo project, overseeing its development from the earliest stages.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Avanti Energy (listed on the TSX-V) and as Italy Country Manager for Calpine and Forest Oil (both listed on the NYSE).

He founded Holdico SA, the first U.S. investment in an Italian gas distribution company, and Intergie Corp, collaborating with Forest Oil and Clyde Petroleum on projects in Italy and internationally.

FRANCESCO DI LUCA
Chief Executive Officer and Director of Mining & Production

With over 18 years of experience in the energy sector, he currently serves as Chief Technical Officer of Hydrogen Valley Ltd, overseeing a bio-refinery project in Southern Italy and as Well Area Site Director for LNEnergy Srl at the Colle Santo gas field.

He is also Technical Director and R&D Innovation Manager at Italfluid.

Previously, he worked as Technical & Project Manager at Saipem and began his career as a Process Engineer at Technip KTI SpA.

He holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.

FRANCESCO GIORGIANNI
Board Member, Head of Legal Affairs and Permitting

Lawyer with over 30 years of experience in the Italian energy sector.

He previously held executive roles at ENEL, where for more than twenty years he managed authorization procedures for major energy projects, developing deep expertise in regulatory processes and institutional relations with ministries.

He is currently part of the LNEnergy's team, with responsibility for all legal and commercial matters.

EUGENIO FRANCONI
Head of Administration and Finance

Certified Public Accountant and Statutory Auditor, registered with the Rome Association of Chartered Accountants, with over 30 years of professional experience. He is a partner at Studio Romoli & Associati in Rome, where he provides administrative, tax, and corporate advisory services.

In his role, he supports companies in financial and economic management, ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to key strategic decisions. He oversees accounting and tax activities, financial reporting, and financial planning, ensuring efficient treasury management and cash flow control.

DANIELE TRIPONE
Head of Geophysics and Reservoir

Geophysicist and seismologist with over 15 years of post-doctoral experience in geophysics, seismic interpretation, and geological and geomechanical modeling.

His career has developed through technical and leadership roles in complex operational environments in Italy and abroad, gaining expertise ranging from seismic data processing and interpretation to reservoir characterization and the development of advanced numerical models supporting exploration and development decisions.

Specialized in integrated seismic interpretation, geological and geomechanical modeling, and the generation of drilling targets and well locations, he has worked on numerous exploration and development projects in the oil & gas, geothermal, and CCUS sectors. His experience includes planning, acquisition, and management of geophysical surveys, as well as reprocessing of existing datasets. He has personally carried out geological and geophysical reservoir characterization, contributing significantly to the definition of static models and their integration with dynamic simulations.

Throughout his career, he has been responsible for subsurface evaluations of operated assets, with particular focus on reservoir definition and characterization, risk analysis, hydrocarbon volume estimation, well planning, and operational support to drilling activities. He has represented operating companies in dealings with government authorities, joint-venture partners, and stakeholders, participating in technical committees, data rooms, business development activities, and investor communications.

As an independent consultant, he currently provides specialist support in seismic interpretation and geological and geomechanical modeling, managing integrated studies for both the traditional energy industry and emerging sectors linked to the energy transition.

LORETTA FINOCCHIO
Head of Geology and Permitting Processes

Geologist and Project Manager with over twenty years of experience in environmental consultancy, gained through complex projects in the oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, both in Italy and internationally.

Since 2002, she has been involved in environmental studies, impact assessments, and permitting processes for the development of projects and facilities, supporting private companies, multinationals, and major energy players throughout the entire authorization lifecycle.

Her expertise includes environmental impact assessment, environmental due diligence, and constraint analysis, also leveraging advanced use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and thematic cartography to support project decisions.

As a Project Manager, she has contributed to feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, environmental monitoring plans, and compliance verifications for oil field development projects, onshore and offshore exploration activities, and energy facilities.

As a geologist and environmental consultant, she has also worked on environmental and geomorphological monitoring activities and the preparation of specialized technical mapping.

SERGIO ROMANO
Head of Geotechnics and Monitoring

Professional geologist with over 25 years of experience in applied geology, geotechnics, and advanced monitoring systems.

Throughout his career, he has carried out and coordinated numerous specialist studies in geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geomorphological fields, operating in complex contexts both in Italy and abroad.

Specialized in the design and management of geognostic investigations, slope stability analyses, numerical modeling, local seismic response studies, and the implementation of instrumental and interferometric monitoring systems, he has developed cross-disciplinary expertise ranging from land protection and hydro-geomorphological risk assessment to the design of major infrastructure works and the management of sediments and excavated earth and rock materials.

As Co-Founder and Technical Director of the Geology and Geotechnics Division at Geoservizi S.r.l., he leads multidisciplinary teams in geological and geotechnical design for major road, railway, and hydraulic infrastructures, landslide mitigation and stabilization works, and seismic verifications for public authorities, Italian and international engineering firms, and construction consortia involved in large-scale projects.

In the gas exploration and production sector, Sergio Romano provides highly specialized expertise in geological and geotechnical site characterization, subsidence studies, definition of subsurface geotechnical models, risk analysis related to extraction activities, and management of integrated monitoring systems. He has also gained significant experience in hydrogeological compatibility studies, environmental assessments (EIA/SEA), GIS-based geographic data management, and technical support during regulatory authorization processes. Author of scientific publications in national and international journals, he continues to update his professional profile through specialized training and participation in working groups and complex projects in the geotechnical and infrastructure fields.
